THE IDEA

Help good ideas find their people.

A project idea often starts with one person and an incomplete team. CrewLab connects owners who need collaborators with builders looking for work that fits their interests and skills.

Projects are the organizing unit: owners describe the work and needed skills, builders discover projects and apply, and accepted members coordinate in a shared project space.

WHAT I BUILT

PRODUCT BOUNDARIES

A deliberate MVP scope.

Owners choose their crewJoin requests go to the project owner for review. Crew membership follows the owner’s decision.
Repository access stays read-onlyWhen an owner connects a repository, project members can view relevant repository information. They do not receive the owner’s GitHub credentials.
An MVP with a defined scopeCrewLab supports profiles, project discovery and management, applications, crew membership, discussion, and optional GitHub context. It does not promise that a project will find contributors or replace a team’s own planning and development practices.
